Skeypr Support
Skeypr is made by FY Tempo. If something is broken, confusing or missing, email eli@skeypr.com and a person will read it.
Where your data is
Without an account, on your phone and nowhere else: Skeypr has no server holding your calendar, journal, notes or contacts, so nobody at Skeypr can look your data up or recover it for you. With an account, your calendar, reminders, contacts, call notes and journal text also sync to that account, where only you can read them; voice recordings and attached files stay on the device that made them.
Keeping a copy
Settings → Data & backup → Export backup writes every store out as a file you can save wherever you like. Do that before you update the app, and keep the copy somewhere other than the phone.
Using Skeypr on more than one device
Sign in with the same account on each device and Skeypr keeps them in step: your calendar, reminders, contacts, call notes and journal text appear on a second iPhone or an iPad. Voice recordings and files attached to an hour stay on the device that made them. Without an account, everything lives on the device it was typed on.
Deleting everything
Without an account, delete the app and your data goes with it; we cannot recover it, because we never had it. With an account, delete the account first (Settings › Account › Delete account) so the synced copy is removed too.
If a voice note did not transcribe
The first recording downloads a transcription model, about 75 MB, over the network. Everything after that runs on your phone. If that first download was interrupted, open Ramble and record again.
