Skeypr Support

Skeypr is made by FY Tempo. If something is broken, confusing or missing, email eli@skeypr.com and a person will read it.

Where your data is

On your phone. Skeypr has no account and no server holding your calendar, journal, notes or contacts. That is the point of it, and it has one consequence worth knowing: nobody at Skeypr can look your data up, and nobody at Skeypr can recover it for you.

Keeping a copy

Settings → Data & backup → Export backup writes every store out as a file you can save wherever you like. Do that before you update the app, and keep the copy somewhere other than the phone.

Using Skeypr on more than one device

Skeypr does not sync between devices. Everything lives on the phone it was typed on, so a second phone or an iPad starts empty.

Deleting everything

Delete the app. Your data goes with it, and we cannot recover it, because we never had it.

If a voice note did not transcribe

The first recording downloads a transcription model, about 75 MB, over the network. Everything after that runs on your phone. If that first download was interrupted, open Ramble and record again.
